Just because two designs look similar, it doesn't mean they are comparable in quality. However, I can say that there is a VERY wide range of quality out there in terms of craftsmanship. I can't speak for Moissanite Co having never worked with them. Their customer service is always attentive, they do quality work, and they use superior materials. I'd really appreciate any reviews or insight from ya'll. Does anyone have personal experience with either company? Part of me feels like I should just go with F&B if I get a better vibe from them because even that configuration is $1,000 under the budget we originally discussed for my ring before we discovered moissanite. I've heard some spotty things about Moissanite Co both relating to craftsmanship and customer service, but since this is a relatively simple design I have a little more confidence that there won't be an issue.I think. I'm also a little miffed that F&B will make me pay extra for my size because I wear a 9-9.25. In fact I can get it with a notched matching band for the same price as just the solitaire through F&B, and I'd probably have to get that custom-made at F&B. My issue is that the configuration I want is a few hundred dollars cheaper at Moissanite Co. They sell those ready-made and I won't have to customize at all. That being said, as much as I love their designs and scrolling through their Instagram, I think the ring I'm going to wear everyday has to be a classic 2 carat 6-prong solitaire, and I'm leaning towards the H&A cut over the forever one. I really get good vibes from the vendor Fire and Brilliance because they really encourage customization and since they reply to all kinds of silly social medial inquiries I feel like that says a lot about how much they care about their products and their customer service. It's natural to want to admire your ring, but lessening how much you touch the ring will also assist in keeping the ring buildup free.My boyfriend and I are looking around at rings and we're 100% sold on moissanite. To keep the ring looking radiant, try not to play with the stone. You can also upkeep the ring on your own at home with a gentle cleanser. The expert will deep clean the ring, remove any buildup for the stone, and underneath the setting. Take your ring to a professional at least once a year-this will help keep your ring looking its best. Like any other stone, maintenance is key. Many times, moissanite will be described using “diamond equivalent weight” or DEW, so people understand how it compares.
