Rubber weatherstripping looks good, not dry. Chrome bumpers look great, they may have been re-chromed, as they shimmer in the California Sun. Equipped with dual exhaust with pitch-perfect mufflers terminating with chrome exhaust tips. All ball joints and steering professionally inspected and reported to be in very good condition. It goes down the road just fine with no pulling or funny noises, and the 4 wheel power drum brakes stop this rolling sculpture with ease. It may be a reproduction, or an amazing original showing little signs of wear. Original wire caps included, but they rub on the fender skirts. Wheels have been painted and full baby moons have been installed. Tires are newer radials with no cracks and good tread. Paint has NO ORANGE PEEL, was re-sprayed decades ago and is holding up very well, it looks GREAT! Engine is a smooth running 390 4 barrel that pulls strongly with a crisp shifting Cruise-O-Matic transmission. No heavy rubberized undercoating, just nice original good Ford tin. Being from a dry climate, there is ABSOLUTELY NO RUST underneath. Up for your consideration is my 1963 Thunderbird. THIS CAR ALSO HAS A FLOATING STEERING WHEEL.
